Pet Portraits are done by Commission. You’ll send a primary photo that you’d like turned into a painting, along with a few other photos so I can see your pet at different angles.

This custom pet portrait is a celebration of that one of a kind bond. The look they give you when you come home. The goofy tilt of their head. The quiet comfort of them just being in the room. I take those small, familiar details and turn them into a painting that resonates with the soul of your pet and captures their love for all time.

Stephanie Andruss Slater
While much of my older work is oil on canvas, most of my current paintings are done with gouache on high quality fine art paper. I have come to adore gouache for its versatility and quick drying ability, which allows me to create layers rich in color.
